Our mission:   To improve the quality of life for low-income Texans by linking lawyers with nonprofits and small businesses.

Texas C-BAR is partnering with Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI) to offer a small business legal clinic on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 6 pm (Location: EGBI, 1144 Airport Blvd., Ste. 260 Austin, Texas ). At clinic, volunteer attorneys provide individualized business-related counsel and advice to small business entrepreneurs on topics such as business formation, contracts, trademarks, patents, employment procedure, and more. To prepare for clinic, C-BAR will offer a free accredited CLE via webinar at noon on Wednesday August 24 and a recorded version for those unable to participate on the 24th. To be a part of this great pro bono opportunity, contact Andrea Harrington at aharrington@trla.org.  This clinic is made possible, in part, by the generous funding from the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Who We AreTexas C-BAR provides free legal assistance to Texas nonprofits working to improve the quality of life in low-income neighborhoods. We recruit experienced transactional attorneys, who volunteer to help these organizations with their corporate, real estate, tax and employment law needs.
